Setenil de las Bodegas is unlike any other white village, its houses burrowed directly beneath vast overhanging slabs of rock that roof entire streets. Wandering the shaded lanes, with the cliff pressing down overhead and bars spilling out beneath it, feels genuinely surreal. It sits close to Ronda, so the two combine beautifully into a single day among the dramatic scenery of the interior.
